We are fun, we are the lighter side of cycling, no competing, just plain enjoyment with the amazing invention known as the bicycle.
Rides takes place through the CBD of Windhoek at night. Across the globe similar rides take place as close to a full moon as possible, hence the group’s name.
We always have a dress-up theme and the last one was Namibia’s Independence. Riders see just how bright they can be with anything from Christmas lights to glow sticks. They ride at a pace suitable for everyone so riders of all ages, shapes, sizes and fitness levels can join in on the fun. When possible the City Police accompany us and for this we are very grateful! Three rides are organised per year, at the beginning, during winter and at the end of the year. Events start and end at Cramer’s so friends and family can stay around for a coffee, a drink or ice cream.
There are enough races, why not take part for the pure enjoyment of cycling?
